Beautiful sunshine as we danced for the Gorsedh Kernow at Marazion. What a backdrop! We have a number of bards among our ranks, including the official Gorsedh piper Robin Holmes 🎶
Gwerin is an intergenerational group celebrating traditional Cornish music, dance and song. Gwerin means 'folk' in the Cornish language.
Our costumes are inspired by Cornwall’s rich geology, incorporating hues of purple, green, and blue found in its rocks and minerals, alongside the metallic tones of tin and copper.
With members ranging from two years old and upwards, we embrace dancers and musicians of all ages, celebrating Cornish culture and having fun passing these cultural treasures on from one generation to the next.

Tredegar House Folk Festival May 2025
We had a brilliant time performing at Tredegar House Folk Fetival in Newport, Wales. The sun shone and we experienced such an incredible array of international folk dance. Roll on 2026!
